The Uncommon Partnnerships

1. Introduction

Welcome to Uncommon Production (operating as Uncommonfilms Studios, Uncommonfilms Moments, and Uncommonfilms Digital Lab). By accessing our website, hiring our services, or signing a contract with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

We provide visual storytelling and production services under three specific verticals:

• Uncommonfilms Studios: Corporate films, TVCs, product shoots, and full-scale production.
• Uncommonfilms Moments: Wedding cinematography, event coverage, and personal films.
• Uncommonfilms Digital Lab: Social media content, reels, motion graphics, and editing.

The specific deliverables for your project will be outlined in your custom Quotation or Service Agreement.

3. Payments & Booking

• Advance Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure dates and commence pre-production work.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining balance must be cleared upon submission of the first draft or before the final delivery of files, whichever comes first.
• Delays: Late payments may result in a delay in project delivery or a suspension of services.

4. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate contract:

• Final Output: Upon full payment, the Client owns the usage rights to the final edited video/photos for the agreed-upon platforms.
• Raw Footage: Uncommon Production retains ownership of all raw footage, project files, and unedited assets. Raw footage is not included in standard packages but can be purchased separately.
• Portfolio Usage: We reserve the right to display the final work in our portfolio, website, and social media channels for promotional purposes.

5. Revisions & Edits

We believe in collaborative perfection, but to ensure timelines are met:

• Our standard packages include two (2) rounds of revisions at no extra cost.
• Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving the draft.
• Structural changes (changing the script, voiceover, or music after approval) may incur additional charges.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

For Corporate Projects: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the shoot will incur a fee covering pre-production costs.

For Weddings/Events: Booking amounts are non-refundable. Dates may be rescheduled subject to team availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take utmost care of our footage and equipment, Uncommon Production is not liable for data loss due to unforeseen technical failures (hardware crash, corruption) beyond our control. In the unlikely event of total footage loss, our liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid.

We collect information necessary to provide our production services effectively. This may include:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing address provided during inquiries or contract signing.
• Project Details: Scripts, storyboards, raw footage, and other assets you share with us for editing or production.
• Technical Data: IP addresses and browser cookies when you visit our website (for analytics purposes only).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly for business purposes, including:

• Processing your bookings and delivering final video/photo assets.
• Communicating with you regarding project updates, revisions, and invoices.
• Improving our website and service offerings based on client feedback.
• Internal record keeping and legal compliance.

3. Content & Media Privacy

We understand the sensitivity of unreleased content.

• Confidentiality: Any raw footage or unreleased materials shared with us are treated as strictly confidential until the final release.
• Storage: Your project files are stored on secure, encrypted local servers and backed up to secure cloud storage for the duration of the project + 6 months.
• Public Display: We will not publish your video to our portfolio before your official release date without your prior consent.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Uncommon Production does not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information with our business partners for statistical analysis.

5. Security

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and project data.

1. Use of AI & Synthetic Media

As part of Uncommonfilms Digital Lab, we embrace modern technology to enhance creativity. However, we are transparent about its use:

• Generative AI: We may use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) for storyboarding, concept art, or generating specific background assets.
• Human Oversight: All final deliverables are curated, edited, and finalized by human artists. We do not deliver raw AI-generated content as a final product unless explicitly requested.
• Voice Synthesis: If AI voiceovers are used for scratch tracks or final output, this will be clearly communicated in your project scope.

2. Sponsored Content & Partnerships

Occasionally, Uncommon Production may collaborate with brands or equipment manufacturers.

• Sponsorships: If a video on our social channels is sponsored by a brand, it will be clearly marked with #Ad or #Sponsored.
• Client Work: Content we produce for you (the Client) is considered "Work for Hire" and is not treated as a sponsorship unless we are distributing it on our own channels as an endorsement.

3. Affiliate Links

Our website or blog posts may contain affiliate links to software, camera gear, or production tools we use and trust.

If you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we have personally tested in our studio.

4. Testimonials & Results

The testimonials displayed on our website are from real clients who have used our services. However, results regarding "engagement growth" or "ROI" from our video content may vary based on market conditions, ad spend, and distribution strategy. We do not guarantee specific viral metrics.
